HELP! Question about the mini-compass on the Driving Support screen. I have seen a small target icon appear outside the compass oval, but I have not found any explanation of what it represents. Any info?

I’ve loved Corolla’s for years but recently purchased a Rav for ease of entry. Hybrid awd Corolla are nearly impossible to find around here. I’m not going to lie. Your comment about leather wrapped steering wheel had me fuming. My wife has leather and I don’t and I honestly never noticed a difference. Never even crosses my mind when driving. Just be thankful you have something to drive. We’ve all become spoiled with our modern cars myself included.

Hello Brian, thank you for the best car tutorial videos on RUclips! I just took possession of my 2024 Corolla SE Sedan after 6 months of waiting and I'm a little overwhelm with all this new technology. My question is, how can I reset the name of the current driver in the settings section of the infotainment screen as the dealer made a spelling error when entering it in the first place. I tried different things but to no avail. So do I have to restart all over by recreating my account by entering my cell phone number or is there a more simpler way to do this? Thanks in advance. CR

I personally think this generation Tacoma is the best looking truck on the road and reliability can't be beat. I'm not sure what my next truck will be but the way Toyota likes to skimp on features and having to pay that price on top of it.... It probably won't be my 1st choice

After driving a Dodge truck for 15 years, I bought a 2024 Toyota Rav4 XLE. I knew I would have a learning curve, since I was so used to a vehicle where I controlled everything, and nothing was automatic. The salesperson showed me all the buttons and went through the settings quickly, but I knew I would never remember them all. I sat down with the manual, but I knew there had to be a better way to figure everything out. When I discovered the video, I was delighted. All the buttons on my 2024 seem the same on it as in this video, so I found it extremely helpful.

The motor is running (tac reads 1900) distance to empty 269 miles gas needle reads FULL. Is that normal or is the fuel gauge defective ?

Happened to me. I started my 2024 tundra for my wife i kept the fob in my pocket she drove 2 hours away and was stranded. I had to meet her during work hours to give her the fob. Toyota is stupid for not having a failsafe..

So does the eco mode that comes on and off on the bottom left of the gauge more of a suggestion since my car is in normal mode?

Isn’t the point of having an auto setting to change it to dark when it’s night?? Same as on many phones… I want it white during day and dark at NIGHT! Why doesn’t Automatic work that way???

This is BY FAR the best car review I’ve ever seen. I’m having to get my used 22 XLE from out of town. This makes me feel so much better about what I’m getting. The options are not usually pointed out as add ons as apposed to a base XLE. Thank you for being so clear & thorough! But this is making me wish I’d found a green one. 😂

So well done. I have a 2023 and love it. With regard to the center console buttons, pushing and holding the charging button on the right automatically charges the battery as I drive.

23’ off road premium in lunar rock here. Still adapting to the transmission and getting an OTT tune in July. The Lunar Rock colour is one that changes as well, sometimes it’s quite green and other times it’s grey. Got it for a “good deal” in today’s market with only 8000kms. Really is a wonderful truck and even though they’re stock they’re head turners.

I can't find the button inside the car for the rear lift.

Cross Hybrid was not out yet when I was looking at cars so I went with the Rav4 hybrid (2023). But this is more like the car I came from, the Matrix. Now that I have it, I love my Rav, but I would have been happy with the Cross as well. I definitely do the "rest the hand on the touchscreen bezel" trick when driving. :) It was weird at first having a car with a giant screen right there, but I like it now. I am glad they have kept traditional buttons for the climate control (so far). Honestly I hardly touch them since I just turn the dial to adjust the temp. My previous car didn't have the thermostat like that, it was all manual adjustments. I love your reviews! :)
